Villa Bugis Drupadi - Villa Cinta
Villa Cinta has a large living pavilion with lounge seating, dining table and a sound system built into the rafters. There’s also a speaker in the tranquil balé (pavilion) beside the inviting aqua blue swimming pool allowing you to sing as you swim, shimmy or shake depending entirely upon your mood. Here in the balé you can relax in the heat of the day peacefully reading a book atop cushions under a whirring fan. For sun lovers the cushioned loungers languishing on the terrace are certainly enticing and when it all gets a little too much, you can just slip into your private pool for a refreshing cool-down swim. Although you can privately relax and sunbathe to your heart’s content in Villa Cinta, the beach is only 250m or a ten minute walk away.
Of the three bedrooms at Villa Cinta, two are twins (convertible to kings if preferred) which make this villa entirely suitable for families with independent children happy to lounge, sunbathe and read. The villa shares staff with the other five neighbouring properties of Villa Bugis Drupadi (formerly Drupadi Gardens) and can be contacted at any time of the day; a maid comes in to clean daily at a prearranged time whilst breakfast can be cooked for you on request. The helpful villa management team can assist you in arranging anything from diving and river rafting trips to the hire of a car and driver for the day.

The entrance to Villa Cinta is via stepping stones that lead you across a tranquil fish pond overlooked by a peaceful stone Buddha statue. To the right of the entrance and overlooking the swimming pool is the main living pavilion which houses the kitchen, an open-plan living and dining area plus an air conditioned TV Room to one side.
The dining table seats up to ten comfortably and there’s a couple of sofas to lounge on, perhaps as you plug in your iPod and listen as the music plays from the rafters of the living pavilion and the poolside balé. The kitchen is contemporary and has a large fridge, hob and coffee machine.
The TV Room has a cable LCD TV as well as a DVD player. There’s a small rattan sofa in here and an ensuite bathroom with toilet and shower.
The master bedroom is situated in its own pavilion at the far end of the swimming pool, looking back towards the living pavilion. The only room with a king-size bed, it has air conditioning and a fan as well as generous wardrobe space, an electronic safe and an iPod dock with speakers built into the ceiling. The semi-outdoor ensuite bathroom is large with a romantic terrazzo tub placed thoughtfully in the small walled garden, just in front of a cascading water feature. There are also twin washbasins and a deluge shower.
Bedrooms two and three are almost identical with twin rattan beds, air conditioning, fans and generous wardrobe space to the back whilst they both open right onto the swimming pool. Their bathrooms are different however, with bedroom two’s being similar to the master ensuite with tub, twin washbasins and a deluge shower, although on a smaller scale. Bedroom three’s bathroom has twin sinks and a shower.
Beside the swimming pool is a balé with cushioned seating, an overhead fan and lights so you can sit back and chill out, even at night.
