Villa Coco Groove
The villa's ‘L’ shaped structure hugs two sides of the grassed coconut grove, which is home to seven thriving coconut trees and Balinese stone statues - all floodlit romantically in the evening. The master bedroom, decorated with antique Chinese furnishings which contrast its chic open-air bathroom, looks out onto an 18m lap pool with a bamboo balé (gazebo) and sunbeds. This is the perfect spot to spend a relaxing day being pampered by the attentive Balinese staff. The villa is fully serviced with cleaners, waiters, security guards, a gardener, manager and resident chef who will shop for you and prepare delicious cuisine from the villa menu and is also happy to prepare special requests (food on guest account). Along the other side of the grove, two guest bedrooms are hidden behind a wall panelled in light wood reminiscent of a minimalist Scandinavian residence.
Villa Coco Groove is a splendid oasis in the heart of Seminyak, an area where property is in high demand. It is unusual in its size and spacious design which makes it a fabulous venue for family holidays, intimate weddings, parties, or a romantic retreat. Only a short stroll away from the famed beach, shopping, restaurants, bars and clubs in the area; it is the perfect base to get your groove on.

Two guest bedrooms run along one side of the villa's large one level ‘L’ shaped structure. They are almost identical in design; both with queen beds, polished concrete floors and high ceilings under the alang alang (thatched) roof. During the day they look out onto the coconut grove, whilst at night the solid wood doors ensure total privacy. Private gardens form the outdoor part of the open air bathrooms (bathtubs and showers) with wood decked floors and pebbled walls. The bathrooms are reached via a large walk-in wardrobe equipped with safe.
Matching the bedroom doors, wood-panelled walls, providing the facia for storage cupboards containing a Bose stereo system, with a CD collection and a docking port for iPods, continue to the kitchen. Large, well-equipped and open air, the kitchen has sleek designed black terrazzo work surfaces and white cupboards. Cool white and stainless steel bar stools pull up to a breakfast bar (sits four). In a clever piece of design, the wood panelling can be pulled across to screen the kitchen and provide privacy when entertaining.
In front of the kitchen is a large open living/dining space with two easy chairs, a round dining table (sits eight) and a rectangular lounge area sunken into the floor, comprising two ‘L’ shaped built-in couches (sits 14). Both living and dining areas look out onto the coconut grove whilst, at the rear, a pond full of carp and lotus flowers stretches the length of the boundary wall and continues out of sight behind the adjacent lounge and master bedroom. Frangipani trees grow behind the pond and beautiful white flamboja flowers hang down from a bamboo structure above.
The lounge houses a TV with satellite channels and a DVD player, an antique writing table, a round table (sits four) and its own bathroom. It is air conditioned – as are all the bedrooms. The master bedroom looks out onto the 18m x 4m swimming pool and boats a beautiful antique Chinese queensize bed with matching cupboard and display shelves housing a collection of interesting ornaments and books. A large walk-in wardrobe, equipped with safe and fridge leads to an open-air bathroom similar to those in the guest bedrooms. However in this bathroom the terrazzo bathtub sits adjacent to the pond.
