The master bedroom is a fabulous living space with wonderful views over the garden and pool whilst a further double bedroom on the ground floor has direct access to the garden. Three twin rooms complete the villa and enhance its suitability for families.

Villa Samakee is fully serviced by an efficient management company who are on call 24 hours a day. A maid comes into the house daily to clean, collect laundry and make the beds whilst a Thai chef can be arranged in advance to come and cater for you at home at cost. Just a five minute drive away is the renowned Laguna Resort complex where there are more than 30 restaurants and bars as well as spas, shops, banks and a world-famous gold course whilst the beautiful and unspoilt beach of Layan is even closer; just a two minute drive.

As you enter into Villa Samakee through high timber doors, you are greeted, through glass doors, with a view of the swimming pool and the raised sala at the end of the garden. To the right of the entrance, a corridor takes you past a guest toilet to the large dining room, with its table for ten, which leads into a fully-equipped, spacious western-style kitchen with access to a maid’s room. Up a few steps and above the maid’s room are two twin bedrooms - one of which has a wooden-decked balcony overlooking the entrance driveway - that share a terrazzo-finished bathroom with twin washbasins and shower.

To the left of the main entrance, the corridor runs the length of the villa in an L-shape. The first room to be reached is the large lounge with generous sofa seating and, like the dining room, sliding glass doors onto the garden. Adjoining the lounge is a brightly coloured home theatre room with plasma screen TV, DVD Player, sofa seating and shelves filled with books and DVDs.

Opposite the home theatre room is a games cupboard whilst a little further along is a third ensuite twin bedroom with sliding doors onto a private furnished terrace. At the end of the corridor opposite this twin room is a bedroom with a four-poster king-size bed and sliding glass doors onto a private timber decked terrace with access to the pool. The ensuite bathroom has a shower and a door leading out to the garden – ideal for pool users.

Just before this bedroom is a study, equipped with multi-function printer and wireless router, leading up to the master bedroom on the first floor. With a king-size bed and 36-inch plasma screen TV, this room is spacious and has sliding glass windows overlooking the garden and pool as well as a private balcony. Lots of storage is provided in the walk-through closet whilst, in the ensuite bathroom, a magnificent terrazzo tub is accompanied by twin basins and a rain shower.

Each bedroom is air conditioned and has a TV, DVD player, mini fridge, telephone, kettle and ceiling fan.
