Pure Villa
Pool parties could also be on the cards, with a huge swimming pool (15x5m) stretching perpendicular to the villa. Cool and comfortable daybeds set within a shady pavilion at the pool’s far end make relaxation de rigeur while a massage area invites guests in with the promise of a complimentary one-hour massage that is bound to be well appreciated!
Grand sophistication runs throughout Pure’s two pavilions which are separated by a garden of coconut palms. The semi-open-plan dining and living area is kept cool by a sea breeze. Here, lime-washed daybeds face each other to inspire lounging, chatting (TV’s are kept to the bedrooms) and browsing through a selection of architectural and modern living magazines, while a spacious open kitchen allows guests to view the in-house chef working his magic before experiencing silver-service dining at the huge one-piece teak wood table.
The team of 12 staff are incredibly well mannered and don’t miss a beat, ensuring every mood is embraced and every guest feels truly spoilt. Adventures beyond the estate are a click of the fingers away thanks to a car, driver and petrol all included in the cost.

Pure Villa houses two contemporary styled pavilions divided by a palm garden. The entrance into the first pavilion is via a pathway over a carp-filled pond. Giant shark bones and sheathed daggers mark grandeur at the entrance where two of the six bedrooms can be accessed along with a spacious lounge, dining and open kitchen area; a semi-open design giving view to the exceptionally large pool and lawn.
Wooden sculptures, Javanese puppets and an impressive teak dining table (seats 12) bring a local flavour to the wedding-inspiring white interior while, adjacent to this, the fully equipped kitchen with black marble bench tops, dark grey cupboards and a wooden floor features a large walk-in storage room with extra space for catering large events. A barbecue is available for outdoor grills.
Named after flowers, each of the bedrooms is minimalistic yet stylish in décor; those in the second pavilion are sheer white from floor to ceiling. All are equipped with either queen or king-size beds; walk-through wardrobes; air conditioning; 32-inch flat-screen televisions with satellite channels (a DVD player is available on request); iPod docks and IDD telephones. All have glorious ensuite bathrooms with an elegant range of terrazzo and batu kali (loose white stone) floors; ‘floating’ and walk-in bathtubs; rain showers; indoor gardens and skylights. ‘Amaryllis’ (master bedroom 1) has an adjoining private kitchen, fully equipped (including mini-bar) and bathed in a black interior, which leads out to a Japanese garden area that weaves around to the front of the villa.
Lounge chairs sit at intervals on a veranda that flanks both pavilions, facing the lawn, while four double sunbeds provide poolside lounging along with white daybeds in the white (of course) balé pavilion at the far end of the pool. A two-table massage room also lies within the villa gardens.
The staff quarters and managers office are situated just inside the front gate.
