Sanur Residence
Aesthetically, the houses are a combination of modern, minimalist design with a hint of traditional materials. Interiors are functional without detracting from the panoramic views. The villa comfortably combines wide expanses of glass, wood floors and metal. Walls are washed white and hung with local arts and crafts. Huge bathrooms are modern terrazzo, with jacuzzi tubs in each master suite and large shower stalls. Floor-to-ceiling doors of brushed aluminium fold back to let in delightful sea breezes giving a natural flow from the houses’ common areas down to the lawns and swimming pool. Bedrooms are generous, all air-conditioned, with comfy mattresses and good quality linens.
Behind the houses are the staff quarters. The villa comes with a full complement of staff including cleaners, butlers and waitresses, a chef and assistant cook, all under the watchful eye of the villa manager. The chef will handle all provisioning for an additional fee and extra services including car/driver hire and spa treatments can be organised by the villa manager (on guest account).

Sanur Residence comprises three separate, modern, two-storey houses. Each has three bedrooms (all with TVs and air-conditioning) and its own kitchenette, dining, and living rooms. Accessed from the rear, House 1, the centre house, has its master suite on the first floor. A huge sumptuous room with twin beds, extravagant sea-facing terrace, a comfortable living/TV area and giant size bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Downstairs two queen-bedded guest rooms share an ensuite shower room. An open-plan, split-level living area features a beautiful inlaid coconut dining table (seats eight) next to a functional kitchenette. Down a level is a TV and lounge area with fold back floor to ceiling doors and a small sea facing terrace.
Accessed from the side, House 2's master suite is on the ground floor, featuring a queen bed, small terrace, generous walk in wardrobes, jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Upstairs are two guest rooms, one twin and one queen. Both have great views and large terraces from which to enjoy them. Each has an ensuite shower room but share a bath tub which can be accessed from either bathroom. The open-plan living areas are almost identically laid out to House 1 except there is no split level. Dining (seating eight) is next to a service kitchenette; the TV area is furnished with low slung cushions, a lounge area offers great views and a small terrace. In the basement, but opening out onto the lawns, is a large meeting room which can double as a communal dining room.
To the other side of House 1, again accessed from the side is House 3. Downstairs are two guest rooms, one twin and one queen, with the same bathroom configuration including the shared bath tub as House 2. A dining area (seating six), with a small kitchen on one side, spills out onto a teak deck on the other. The living area similarly opens out to a second adjoining deck furnished with bamboo daybeds. A cosy media room features a 42-inch flat-screen TV and Bose surround-sound stereo. Upstairs is the vast master suite with king bed, private four-seater dining table and lounge/office area. An equally vast bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall is ensuite. The views are outstanding.
Behind the houses are the staff quarters with a laundry room, main kitchen and car ports.
